Based in Tideswell near Buxton, Derbyshire C V GILL are a family run haulage company specialised in moving anything from hay and straw to heavy machinery. Being centrally located within the Peak District in Derbyshire we are ideally positioned to offer a prompt nationwide service.

 

Our History

 

We are third generation farmers at our farm in the peak district. We farm over 350 acres mainly sheep and hay produce. The Gill family have been selling hay, straw, haylage, silage and wood shavings and offering general haulage for over 40 years.

 

We have developed ongoing loyal working relationships with many customers and suppliers both local regionally and nationally over this time.

 

Cameron Gill son of Roy Gill (R D Gill Haulage) established his own business over five years ago in 2010. Since then he has expanded quickly thanks to the excellent produce and services offered.

 

What we do

 

We are hay and straw merchants offering excellent quality barley, wheat, oats, rape straw, vined pea, hay, haylage, silage and wood shavings in most bale sizes. All at competitive prices and with guaranteed quality. 

 

Machinery and general haulage is also undertaken.
